The Lowdown returns for Season 2 on FX, October 14, 2026.

I've been sitting on this one for a while, so it feels good to finally say it out loud: I'll be appearing in an episode of the next season of The Lowdown on FX, premiering October 14, 2026.

The part of this job I still can't quite get over was getting to work alongside Ethan Hawke. I've revered him as an actor since I was a kid watching The Explorers on a rented VHS tape — that was the first time I remember watching a movie and thinking, "I want to do that." Thirty-some years later, sharing a set with him didn't feel routine for a single day of it. It felt like a dream that happened to also be a workday.

What struck me most was just how grounded he is as a scene partner. Fully present in every take, listening, giving you something real to work off of, generous with the space he shares. No wasted energy, no performance of being "the star of the show" — just good, honest work from someone who clearly still loves doing it.

I'm genuinely proud of what we built on this one, and I can't wait for people to see it when it premieres on FX on October 14th. More to come as the release gets closer.
